Shipping and Return Policy

1. Order Shipping

1.1. Production and Delivery Time
All River Relax products are custom-made to order, according to the customer’s selected preferences (model, colour, features, etc.).

The estimated average production and delivery time is up to 45 days after payment confirmation.

If an exceptional delay occurs during production or transport, the customer will be informed by e-mail.

1.2. Shipping Costs
The shipping cost is included in the product price for deliveries within Portugal and the rest of the European Union.

Any additional import fees or charges apply only to deliveries outside the EU.

1.3. Transport and Delivery
Deliveries are carried out by partner carriers on business days and during normal working hours.

The customer must ensure that someone is available to receive the order.

Upon delivery, the customer should check the condition of the packaging. If there are visible damages, the issue must be noted on the delivery slip and reported to River Relax within 24 hours.

2. Returns and Warranty

2.1. Product Nature and Right of Return
All River Relax electric recliners are custom-made and produced to order.

According to Directive 2011/83/EU and Decree-Law No. 24/2014, Article 17(c), the right of withdrawal (return without cause) does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications.

Therefore, returns due to change of mind or regret are not accepted.

2.2. Returns for Manufacturing Defects
River Relax only accepts returns in cases of manufacturing defect or non-conformity with the order.

The customer must report any issue to info@riverrelax.pt within 30 days after delivery.

After evaluation, River Relax will proceed with repair, replacement, or refund, as applicable.

2.3. Warranty
All River Relax electric recliners come with a 3-year legal warranty, valid throughout the European Union.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and electrical components.

It does not cover damages caused by incorrect use, negligence, lack of maintenance, or unauthorised modifications.

4. Final Provisions

River Relax reserves the right to modify these Shipping and Returns Terms without prior notice.
The applicable conditions will always be those in force at the time of the order.
